BROTHERHOOD

Lend me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses yearning to be free
And I'll give them Brotherhood!
We cry of tyranny, terrorism, racism and genocide
And yet, the very fabric of being an American...being a human...
Is the idealism of Brotherhood!
If love is unconditional
And Brotherhood is the epitome of love
Then why put conditions
Onto the notion of being My Brother?
If the idea of "each one teach one"
And "each one help one" is based
In the foundation of true Brotherhood...
Then ask yourself...
"Whom have I helped...and what have I taught them?"
If God is love and love is life
And Life, such as it is,
Is not to be lived alone...
Then give me Brotherhood.
