One da Platter - D&D Allstars

| Monday, May 24, 2010
I gotta big up Queen Vy for reminding me of this joint. Before DJ Khaled was screaming we the best every 10 seconds we had DJ Clue echos, DJ Dirty Harry blends and most important DJ Premier censoring records. Premo made it cool to have censored records, I'm done typing, take a listen and enjoy.

On da Platter - Black Thought (The Roots) - Hardware

This track is a rare gem that few people really know about. It was suppose to be on Thought's solo album as we know that never dropped.

On Da Platter: Jamiroquai - Space Cowboy

| Monday, March 8, 2010
Jamirquai is just pure music, I remember seeing this video for the first time back in the day when it was on Video Vibrations. Thats right Video Vibrations the BET show that had the imaginary host that we never saw. After seeing the video for the first time I remembered the words and melodies instantly. It was one of the defining moments in my life that fueled my passion to do music.

On Da Platter - Q-Tip

A Tribe Call Quest is one of my favorite groups of all time, if I had the money I would completely fund their new project if they would get back together. For you vinyl collectors yes that is the "Gettin Up" 45 with Move as the B-Side in the picture. Enjoy

There is so many words to describe this album but I can sum it up in one word; incredible. I think every artist that has a true passion for music should listen to this album and grasp the concept of timeless music.

On Da Platter - Royal Flush - Ghetto Millionaire

| Tuesday, February 9, 2010

I was listening to Royal Flush Ghetto Millionaire today blown about how great this album is. Its been 13 years since the album was released but its still relevant today and is better than 90% of the music out today. Whenever I talk to people about great hip hop albums, this is one that always comes up. Its really one of the albums that if your stuck on a island and you can only have 5 joints, this will easily be one of them. For all you so called hip hop heads who don't know about this get educated its whats on my platter.
